Club Rules and playing times
Seniors can play at any time from 7am -10pm, however, Midweek Tennis, Junior Tennis, and Interclub take precedence during their respective scheduled playing times.
Interclub games take precedence over all others.
Senior Club Days
Sunday: 3:00 – 5:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30 – 10:00pm
MidWeek Club Day – Wednesday 9:30am – 12 noon.
Note: On the first Wednesday night of each month we have a social evening (with tennis of course), with wine and nibbles. All are welcome to come down, put their name on the board and have a hit.
Stella Night!
Monday nights are always busy with the Stella Men’s Night tennis from 7.30. Come along for a hit, followed by a beer and a BBQ. It’s BYO drinks but someone is always rostered on to deliver a tasty sausage or two (or Whitebait Fritters if it’s Stan’s turn!).
This season we have the following Senior interclub grades entered:
Men’s Singles
Chelsea Cup, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th & 7th grade (week nights)
Ladies Singles
2nd and 3rd grade (week nights)
Doubles:
Prem Doubles and 2nd grade, (weekends)
Senior Club Championships
The Club Championships usually start in March or early April, and are open to Senior or Intermediates who have been financial members as of 1st January that year.
The Club Champs organisers may ask the Junior Convenor and Club Coach to select the top two Junior players to enter the championships as wildcard entries. Otherwise Juniors are not eligible to play in the Senior Club Championships.
